The Consortium for the Protection of the Primitivo di Manduria – together with the wineries, Cantolio and the Producers Consortium for the Manduria Wines. Gaetano di Lizzano (from the Due Palme winery) and Vigne e Vini di Leporano with support from GAL Terre del Primitivo e Regione Puglia (Local Action Group for the Primitivo Area and Puglia Region) – have had been deeply involved in promoting the Primitivo growing area through the lenses of the ‘Linea Verde’, the Rai 1 Sunday broadcast, which has been reporting on agriculture for fifty years.
The troupe following the presenter Patrizio Roversi, flanked by the wonderful Daniela Ferolla, filmed for over a week among the rows of vines, in the wineries and farmhouses, collecting together an expressive synthesis of all the values and resources of our land.
It is a perfect opportunity to broaden the knowledge and promotion of the wine variety and the locality that is increasingly destined to be a great wine, thanks to the efforts of many farmers and local businesses.
The programme will be broadcast Sunday 5th October at 12.20 PM on RAI 1.
